Feb. 10, 2023, 11:25 a.m.

The new version of the Tools4MSP Geoplatform is now available at the following URL geoplatform.tools4msp.eu. The use of the current site for the creation of new contents is now discouraged. However this site will continue to remain active and the resources (layers, maps, users) will continue to be accessible.

A multidisciplinary group of researchers, composed by policy experts, planners, ICZM-MSP experts, ecologists, socio-economists, data and GIS specialists, modellers and software engineers is collaborating in the advancement, improvement and use of the Geoplatform and its content, working together in various EU-funded projects and in the production of scientific outputs. They are interested in applied coastal and marine research in support of Marine Spatial Planning (MSP) in the Adriatic-Ionian Region (AIR) and the Mediterranean, international cooperation and knowledge exchange in MSP, and in contributing through sound MSP approaches to Blue Growth and regional development objectives (e.g. EU Strategy for the Adriatic Ionian Region (EUSAIR) and BLUEMED Initiative).
